Painterly animated music video exploring loss, connection, and the invisible bond
that survives when two people walk away.

Inspired by J.M.W. Turner's atmospheric paintings, this project follows two semi-abstract figures, one rendered in muted terracotta, one dissolving in grey, across an abstract void where color itself carries the emotional narrative. A desaturated world where warmth belongs only to her, and its absence tells his story.

WORKFLOW

🎯 Inspiration
Turner's atmospheric impressionism, the emotional geometry of distance, and the visual language of painterly animation.

🧠 Moodboard
Color logic, character design, light progression, and camera philosophy defined through structured creative development.

📐 Storyboard Nine-scene arc:
piano discovery, approach, ribbon ascent, cloud separation, rain, reflection, over-the-shoulder perspectives, paint-to-reality transition, and eye close.

⚙️ Creation Image generation
Google Flow (Nano Banana 3.1 Pro). Video generation in Google Veo 3 and Kling 3.0.
Select sequences produced in Higgsfield.

🎞️ Post-Production
Assembly, transitions, and color grading in Final Cut Pro.
Selective color grade: desaturated world with terracotta (#C2703E) reserved exclusively for her figure.

Approach:
Every frame designed to function as a standalone painting. AI directed through precise cinematographic language, camera motion, light progression, character gesture,  not through automation.
The creative pipeline moved from lyrics to mood board to storyboard to image generation to video generation to final assembly, with human creative judgment at every decision point.
AI as brushstroke, not painter.
